Glenmark Aquatic Foundation, a CSR initiative of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, announced the appointment of Carles Subirana to the role of Technical Director.
Carles Subirana is a coach with more than 38 years of experience. He has been the Technical Director of the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation and the coach of the National Training Center. He has had a long and successful career and has participated in many major international championships, including the European , European Championships, World Championships and Olympic Games, and has represented Spain and Denmark as a coach. in this new role Carles Subirana will be responsible for Creating an overall vision for swimmers in India with an aim of producing global champions..
He would be based in Delhi but will oversee all the 3 centres, GAF Mumbai, SFTIDM Delhi and GAF RAY Bengaluru.
