Glenmark Aquatic Foundation finishes 3rd at the 1st All India Club Championships

GAF finished 3rd overall in the 1st All India Club Championships held at Hyderabad. GAf swimmers won 9 Golds, 7 Silvers and 3 bronze medals to finish the Event with 19 medals. GAF Delhi topped the leaderboard with 16 gold 5 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Anaya Punamiya won the Overall Championships in the Girls Group IV category with a total of 21 points

SGTIDM top Medal Tally at 1st All India National Club Championships

Swimmers from SAI Glenmark TIDM programme at Delhi topped the medal tally at the 1st All India Invitational Inter Club Swimming Championships held at Hyderabad. The SGTIDM contingent won a total of 16 Golds, 6 Silvers and 3 Bronze medals.

Swadesh Mondal and Veer Khattar shared the Championships in Boys Group III with a total tally of 21 points while Astha Choudhury won the Championships in Group III Girls with a tally of 21 points.

GAF ties up with MCGM

In order to provide a 50m pool for practice for GAF swimmers. GAF has ties up with MCGM to use the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial pool in Shivaji Park Mumbai. The recently renovated MGMO pool is arguably the best 50m pool in the city and GAF wishes to thank MCGM and all its officials for their support and cooperation.

GAF announces 2020 and 2024 Olympic program for Mumbai

Glenmark Aquatic Foundation announced a list of probables for the 2020 and 2024 Olympics. The Swimmers have been identified using a scientific process by the coaches using current timings and age criteria with an idea of creating a roadmap for the swimmers which would enable them to pursue glory at International meets.

The selected swimmers would undergo a specialised routine designed by the coaches. In addition to the specialised training they would be constantly monitored for their fitness in a tie up with Shri. H.N. Reliance hospital to maintain their fitness and reduce Injury.

The swimmers will also be sponsored by GAF for certain International meets.
