The Mumbai Centre of GAF is located at the District Sports Complex at Dharavi. The Centre is in partnership with the DSO, Government of Maharashtra.
The Centre has a 25m pool with state of the art water filtration facilities. In addition to the pool the centre features a well equipped gymnasium with high qualified trainers for Dry Land training.
Peter Gartrell,  a renowned coach  heads the Program as the technical director. Peter Carswell who has coached Olympic medalists is the head coach. Bushan Kumar ( ASCA level 5 coach), Smita Divgikar (Arjuna Awardee in Swimming), Komal Athare and Satish Kumar (both experienced National Champions) complete the coaching faculty.  For details of coaches please click here.

The Centre operates through the year and admits swimmers above 6 years of age. The swimmers are distributed across the program based on age and prowess. The program is structured to be progressive allowing the swimmer to mature with time.

In addition to competitive swimmers GAF also conducts Summer and Winter camps for kids who wish to learn swimming.

For Adults there are batches in the morning and evening for lap swimmers. A special ladies batch is also slotted for the afternoon.
